Matteo Iadonisi
Matteo Iadonisi is a Community Journalist for 6abc. He has shared his creative videography and storytelling talents with Action News since May of 2017!

Born in Philadelphia and raised in South Jersey, Matteo has deep roots planted on both sides of the Delaware River.

Matteo started making home videos when he was just 10 years old. He then went hands-on with media production at Paul VI High School and Rowan University, where he earned two bachelor's degrees.

Before joining 6abc, Matteo was the Production Director at Rowan Radio 89.7 WGLS-FM. Since then, he has been an Action News intern, associate producer, tour guide, and now Community Journalist.

Since 2019, Matteo has produced over 1,500 human-interest stories. As both a videographer and editor, he stays behind the camera in order to empower members of the community to have their own voices heard.

Matteo shares a passion for videography and storytelling with his brother, Nick Iadonisi. In 2023, Nick joined the Action News family as a fellow Community Journalist! The brothers continue to make home videos in their free time and frequently share tips and tricks of the trade.

Matteo and Nick's father was an Italian immigrant and guitarist who formed the local wedding band, Adonis, and performed for three decades alongside their mother, who was the lead singer. They lived the 'American Dream' and always fostered their children's interests so they could pursue their own.

In 2025, Matteo and his wife, Christina, welcomed their beautiful daughter, Carmella, into the world. Becoming a dad and mom has always been their dream job. Plus, little Carmella loves the camera already!
